About

Visionary healthcare leader with over 15 years of experience driving innovation at the intersection of clinical practice, research, and medical education. Internationally recognized as an International FAIMER Fellow (2024–2026) and Fellow of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists, I specialize in integrating AI, AR/VR, and generative technologies to transform health professions education and digital health ecosystems. Currently leading the development of vivum.app, a real-time PubMed evidence synthesis platform, I am also pursuing a second PhD in Health Professions Education with a focus on PhyCaRe—a novel extension of the CARE guideline tailored to physiotherapy case reporting. My first PhD in Physiotherapy resulted in a pioneering study exploring the role of VR gamification in improving pain, mobility, and functional independence in distal radius fracture rehabilitation. I bring strong analytical thinking, systems thinking, and technological fluency, supported by a publication record of over 200 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier journals such as Frontiers in Public Health, Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence, Medical Education, and PLOS ONE. With an h-index of 20 and 1,453 citations, I also author key texts including Physiotherapy in Community Health and Rehabilitation (Springer Nature, 3rd Ed., 2025) and Physiotherapy MCQs (2023). As a global educator and research strategist, I have trained over 1,000 professionals in AI applications, research methodologies, and evidence-based clinical innovations, delivering 50+ keynotes and workshops across institutions. My leadership in talent development, digital pedagogy, and cross-disciplinary training reflects a commitment to lifelong learning, global capacity-building, and resilient academic ecosystems. Recognized with the Best Teacher Award and Distinguished Service Award, I continue to champion AI for diagnostics, predictive analytics, and AR/VR/XR in rehabilitation, while forging international collaborations, securing competitive grants, and supporting institutional accreditation. I am deeply committed to advancing healthcare through empathetic leadership, creative problem-solving, and evidence-informed innovation aligned with the future of work in healthcare.
